Bringing a Community Together

HollyFrontier is a longtime partner of Linden’s. Riddled by misconceptions about their impact on the community, HollyFrontier Cheyenne came to us in 2015 to help them set the record straight and shed light on all the positive contributions the company makes in Cheyenne.

Impressed by the work Linden created for their Cheyenne refinery, HollyFrontier Corporate based in Texas approached Linden to partner with them to design, produce and distribute their 2017 Corporate Citizenship Report.

Since then, our relationship with HollyFrontier has continued to grow. We have developed a number of special reports together, from design and copy editing to printing and distributing. We’ve done on-site photoshoots with HollyFrontier employees for original and authentic content; we’ve created and launched community relations campaigns to highlight HollyFrontier as a part of their local community.

Unity at Local and National Levels

When HollyFrontier hosted a leadership summit to strategize measurable goals that would grow their business, we created visuals and other materials that would set the tone of the event, establish culture and vision themes, and carry these throughout the conference. We designed a collection of materials that included a presentation, participant guides and pop-up banners that emanate HollyFrontier’s focus on culture. Using Linden’s photography we were able to really bring their values to life.

HollyFrontier thought so, too. After the conference, we came together again to create posters based upon the banner design – at the request of conference attendees – so members of the leadership could bring this expression of HollyFrontier’s values to their home refineries and corporate offices.

And There Were Zombies

When HollyFrontier needed to bring clarity to risk management to their internal teams, Linden designed and created an animated video to illustrate the importance of processes, with zombies representing the risk. Yes, there were HollyFrontier-zombie-branded employee t-shirts and coffee mugs to match.
